This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed when you visit or make a purchase from the Site. We strive to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) of Canada, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where applicable.
1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as "Device Information."
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier.
- "Log files" track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- "Web beacons," "tags," and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment details necessary to complete transactions, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as "Order Information."
2. COOKIES AND ADVERTISING TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain website functionality, analyze our web traffic, optimize your shopping experience, and personalize advertising content. Cookies allow us to retain items in your shopping cart and recognize your device upon your return.
We utilize third-party tracking cookies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, build retargeting audiences, and deliver relevant advertisements based on your historical interactions with our Site. You may choose to disable cookies through your personal browser settings; however, doing so may restrict your ability to use specific features or successfully complete orders on our Site.
3. DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser, as there is currently no industry-wide consensus on how to recognize or respond to these signals.
4. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment details through secure providers, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you and provide ongoing customer support;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with targeted information, abandoned cart notifications via email, or advertising updates regarding our products.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
5. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with trusted third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Shopify to power our online store. For more information about how Shopify processes personal information, please review Shopify's Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
We also share your information with secure third-party payment providers and global fulfillment partners to safely process and ship your orders directly to your address. Finally, we may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, or protect our corporate rights.
6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
As we operate globally, your information may be transferred, stored, and processed outside of your country of residence, including in Canada, the United States, and the European Union, where Shopify’s servers and third-party data centers are located. We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information transferred across borders remains protected in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
7. SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
The security of your private data is of paramount importance to us. We implement appropriate physical, technical, and managerial security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration, misuse, or disclosure.
All payment transactions are processed exclusively through secure, fully encrypted third-party payment gateways and are maintained under strict Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS). While we take every commercially acceptable measure to secure your data, no method of digital transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
